Filter cleaning granules are designed to deep clean your filter. They remove stubborn dirt from your filter.
 User manual:
 Remove the filter from its housing and place it in a bowl or bucket of warm water. Sprinkle 2 scoops of Filter Cleaner Granules over the filter. Let it soak for 1 to 1.5 hours, turning it over occasionally. Then spray the filter with a strong jet of water. For best results, attach a filter cleaning brush to your garden hose.
